Have a look here:

Does it solve the problem?

No.

I seem to have many copies of that file all over the filesystem:

Yes, that's where I put it after downloading - did I put it in the wrong place?:

I have tried many times. I have had to go all the way back to 1.6.1 to get PW to install.

On the other hand I had no trouble doing the update from 2.1.17  to 2.1.18 on a second N800.

I must be doing wrong but I can't see what.

Re: [papywizard v2] Annoncement, feedback, bug report

Mode B, don't work well on Nikon D70 with "Gentled-IR". only the open do, not the close (when i put time 40") without mode B selected
if i select mode B the sutter start-stop continually and shots interval 1s approx.

I'm not surprised: the pulse param. was introduced specifically for the Gentle-IR... You can't use a long delay with it, because it does not let the shutter opened, but rather send several pulses.

Re: [papywizard v2] Annoncement, feedback, bug report

sorry, I say it too quickly : same time for 3x2 shot at 6" = 89" total

In fact I'd say well, here is the print screen copy:
first is new version 78"
This version is also more stable, the old often crash at "connect"

I saw that too on first run from the installer.

Click on Close and run PW again and it loads and runs just fine - at least it did for me on XP 32-bit with SP3.

Re: [papywizard v2] Annoncement, feedback, bug report

Nokia N800 works fine so far no extensive testing completed yet, numerical shot marker works fine.

Thanks fma38 for including this so quickly.

Re: [papywizard v2] Annoncement, feedback, bug report

In 2.1.18 under Windows 7 32bits I can't open the "about"-dialogue. When I try nothing happens. So, technically, I'm not sure it really is the 2.1.18 I'm trying it with because I installed it over an older version. yikes

Anyone else who can verify this?
