Re: [merlin/orion] Where To Buy?

Got them down an extra $5 to $160 wink  Had a $160 visa giftcard/rebate from when I ordered three 8gig sandisk cards...she knocked off the $5 rather than splitting it to two cards.  Now I need my bluetooth chip.

Re: [merlin/orion] Where To Buy?

Hi Tarnis,

What will be "your" solution for the interface ? PARALLAX ?

If yes, I have allready prepared a very small serie of Cable/Connector for this solution ...
So the cable/connector is availlable NOW! smile

If you are interrested, let me know by direct Email your "exact" adress and I will ship to you. The only thing I will ask is that you pay for the shipment cost (between 1.5 and 3.5 Euros via Paypal). hmm

When will the cables be available?

And shouldn't the other unit be removed from the wiki?

I believe the Tronisoft hardware references on the wiki should be kept for archival purposes, and headed as such. Unless you want it totally erased.

I've modified the English Wiki page to say that we cannot currently recommend the Tronisoft kit:

Re: [merlin/orion] Where To Buy?

I was referring to the head from telescope.com if it isn't compatible.  Although according to the description it should have 'goto' capability and ability to triger the camera.

Re: [merlin/orion] Where To Buy?

I found a perfect carrying case for the Orion TeleTrack 9441 or Sky-Watcher Multi-Function Mount.  The case is manufactured by Vanguard and the model number is: VGP-13S.  The best total price I found (case and shipping) was from Markertek:
http://www.markertek.com/SearchProduct. … agesize=20

The Vanguard VGP-13S accommodates one side of the Multi-Function Mount's foam insert very nicely.  The fit is snug and secure.
