Re: Brand New User HTML output question

It's licensed but I'm wondering if something didn't "stick" in the transition from demo to licensed. The software seems to behave like I've licensed it (no watermark, save enabled) and it shows as being registered to my email address in the splash screen. The krpano license file shows my email address also.

It may be a false memory but I have a vague recollection of someone else having that sort of issue with a Mac.

The results you got from your server are the same I got by hosting on Mobile Me - the fatal license error, in Safari and Firefox. On godaddy I get the blank white screen like you saw early on. There's got to be something missing/wrong in the code somewhere.

The Godaddy result is very odd.

I've been trying my best to comb through the html, javscript and xml files to see if anything jumps out as being odd. I just don't have enough experience in that arena to feel like I'm accomplishing anything.

I think it's not something like that.

I really appreciate you hanging in there with me on this issue. I owe you one!

I enjoy the challenge, and I have received a lot of help from others on this forum.

Here's a link to see the files I'm using. This is minus the 2 iPhone files (and whatever else is created with the mobile version unchecked) to eliminate that as a source of trouble.

OK - it plays back fine from local disk on an ancient Thinkpad T23 Win2K/Firefox laptop.

I get a Fatal: License Error message when attempting playback (after uploading) from a web server.

Are you using a licensed version of Panotour Pro or a demo version?

Same problem for me, there is a problem with your license key. Could you send us your Panotour key + your email (use my email link at left or the contact form http://www.kolor.com/contact.html )? I will check if the license is ok.

For the link: http://www.armillaryinc.com/tests/test4/test4.html I have same problem, the swfkrpano.js is not readable by user. Check that the files and directory are readable by all on the webserver (here a link if you have some trouble with that http://www.elated.com/articles/understa … rmissions/ )

That was it! I had to change permissions with my FTP program and it works fine!

Many thanks to everyone!

Re: Brand New User HTML output question

Glad to know that solved your problem but I wonder when an entire folder is transferred then all the files within folder automatically should have the same permission as parent folder.

What about the licence key issue?

I see the test4 example is displaying the demo mode watermark.

Some elements were created before i purchased the software. I'll have to publish a few more tests to make sure. I'll post a link to a more polished version..

Ok. This should look pretty good! Works on iPad/iPhone,too. Not sure about the little planet intro, but I'm still in test mode so why not.

I need to work on file size. The final output is 65mb and takes a bit too long to load.

Re: Brand New User HTML output question

I'm not an expert... but it sounds like the html file for one is corrupt.   Sometimes I have had issues getting panos to work on my site... but my web master has fixed them in the past.   Sometimes the HTML file refers to files that are in a different location or name than the "Real" files are.  Why I do not know.   I am working with a new client of mine that is also a web master and we are in the middle of addressing this issue and I will report back what we find.
