Panotour Viewer Freezes OSX

I created a tour with PTP 2.5.7 on OSX. I created a TPV file.

I downloaded and installed the latest Panotour Viewer 1.1 for OSX and opened this TPV file. I click Open in Browser and it opens in Safari OK. The first pano starts to rotate but gets slower and slower. Eventually the computer stops responding - no mouse movement or response to keyboards.

Eventually I had to hold the power button to restart OSX. This happens reliably every time I run the tour.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Always with the same tour? Or any PTV?

It looks like you will have to use KrPano Testing Server instead of PTV to view your tours locally.

Thanks for the quick response Annis.

I tried with another tour and the same problem occurred.

This entry occurred in the system log just before it froze - I don't know if it is any help:

May 8 10:10:11 vlan-2670-10-17-35-41 PanotourViewer[2347]: assertion failed: 16E195: libxpc.dylib + 74307 [ABC45890-DA23-3A4A-B50B-1384BD4CBBDF]: 0x89

I wanted to be able to distribute our tour to a group of school students who will not be able to access our web version behind our university firewall. Apart from setting up a public web site, is the KrPano testing server the best option?

Thanks.

Yes the KrPano Testing Server would be the best option in this case.
