The free Panotour viewer software (http://www.kolor.com/panotour-viewer-download) was recommended by a third party, so that training providers who belong to our trade association may use it to show landscape gardening students a series of safety hazard pictures in a virtual series of pictures. The pictures shown were taken by ourselves.
However, after passing this information to a training provider, a member has queried the statement 'not intended for commercial purposes', which appears on the webpage: http://www.kolor.com/panotour-viewer-download/.
May I ask if individual training providers are allowed to download the free Panotour viewer software and use it to teach students in a classroom style setting - or whether this is prohibited under the terms of the software license?
The "not intended for commercial purposes" that you can find on the Panotour Viewer download page and other pages of our website does not mean that it is prohibited to use it for commercial purposes.
It does mean however that we do not advise to use it for commercial purpose as virtual tours are meant to be viewed through a webserver to work correctly, whether it's online or offline.
