Auto-grouping in PTP 2.5.12 on Linux

by 360-compunics-com-ni » Fri Jul 06, 2018 6:34 pm

Hi,

i noticed some odd behaviour of the new auto-grouping function, at least on Linux (Ubuntu).
When the containing folder structure is opened while performing the drag&drop, the groups are created but each pano is added individually as well, which is certainly not what you expect.
If the same folder structure is closed, it works as expected.

Best wishes,
Michael Brüning

Hi Michael,

thanks for the report.
We will investigate this issue.
It seems that the API we use to retrieve the selected "files" does not behave the same way on Linux that it does on Windows and MacOS.
