Please get back to me on this ASAP. Much appreciated.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the 32 and 64 bit versions for windows. Downloaded new files for Windows from Kolor.com.
64 bit, which I was using, crashes right away.
32 bit 2.5.7 teases me into thinking that it will work, asking me to register, which I do and get a registration succeeded notice. I get the front page, but if I try to load a project or new panoramas, it crashes. =(

Please Help

I have updated my graphics card driver in the hopes it would solve the problem. No luck.
It sure would be nice to get some help on this....

How am I going to get any support on this?
I feel like I am spitting int the wind, talking to myself.
Looks like I am going to have to switch to another more reliable program.
My last ditch effort is attaching the crash dmp file. It cannot be uploaded from the program and apparently not from here either... Turns out it is empty. Lame.

I'm sorry for the delay, but I was not here last week.

Are you prompted to send a crash report? If you are, have you sent it with your e-mail so that I can look it up?

This is very strange.
Are you behind a proxy or anything that could stop the upload of the crash report on both computers? Or a particularly paranoid firewall?

Did the installers download fully? I've been informed that last week there have been some modifications on our download and crash report servers. Panotour 2.5.8 64 bits installer should be about 171 MB.

No Proxy. Windows server 2012 network. Windows firewall set to normal
See attached screen shot.
I have downloaded and tried both the 32 and 64 bit versions with the same result

Installers
32 bit is 142 k
64 bit 175 k

The program was working correctly last on June 28, 2017 when I created http://www.trueview360s.com/virtualtours/GrandCanyon/

Feature update to Windows 10, version 1703 was installed by Windows update on 6/30/2017. See attachment for more details. I updated my graphics card to ensure it was not the problem.

Hm, apparently my computer hadn't been deemed worthy of getting the 1703 update yet. I've just updated to 1703 and have no issue using PTP 2.5.8 that was already on my computer. Also tried Panotour Standard 2.5.5 with no issue.

Now I've uninstalled and tried both 32-bits and 64-bits versions of PTP 2.5.8.

32-bits : Opened and managed to register, opened a fairly large PTP project, it crashed with no crash reporter. Other smaller projects or projects from scratch worked fine.
64-bits : Opened and registered, opened my project with no issue. So the 32-bits crash was likely because it's so limited in memory.

I am able to send crash reports with no issue in 1703.

What about APG or AVP? Even if you don't own a licence, are you able to launch them? Are you having this issue with any other software?
What is your anti-virus? Can you try disabling it momentarily and launching PTP? Could it be that something is stopping the software from launching.
And you're definitely not on a virtual machine?

I was able to get the program loaded and I tried to add some panoramas, but got a command prompt error attached. I have plenty of room on the drive.
I use Advanced System Care Ultimate 10.1 Anti Virus. I turned it off and turned off the firewall. The program crashed when loading panoramas. I am on a stand alone all in one computer. No other programs are crashing. I downloaded APG and it seems to work fine.

Can you check the memory settings of Panotour Pro ? Before loading any panormas.
Open Panotour Pro, then click on "Edit/Preferences" menu
Set a dedicated empty "Temporary Folder" for Panotour Pro
And may be decrease the "Memory Used" by Panotour Pro sessions.

Then re-start Panotour Pro, and try to load a new panorama.

I reinstalled Panotour 64 bit and was able to upload a crash report. Did you receive it?

I tried opening PTP in safe mode, but it crashed before opening. I attached the dmp file but had to rename it .doc
This forum disallowed uploading a dmp file

I just upgraded to PTP 2.58 on my notebook. I uninstalled the previous version and then installed and registered 2.58.
I get the 3 attached error messages when starting up. The program then loads and seems to work, but I have not created any projects.
I use windows 10 home build 15063

We are not here on weekends, sorry for the delay.

The crash report you managed to send is readable! The crashes are caused by the presence of Lavasoft malware or leftover components on your computer.
You will need to remove every trace for Panotour to work.

Hooray. I had a Lavasoft program called Web Companion. I uninstalled and shredded the files and did the same for PTP. Rebooted and reloaded PTP. It seems to be working fine now. I wonder why it took so long for the problem to crop up. The timing was about the same as the Windows upgrade, but Web Companion had been on my computer for over a year.

I think it looks nice though I prefer more simplified interfaces myself, the whole left side detracts from the wide openness from the panos.

I agree and why I encourage the use of the Hide controls button. With the listings it allows the user to get where they want quickly. Thanks again.
