Custom view doesn't work in 2.5.8

Hi guys.
Just upgraded to the new version (2.5.8) and at the same time I couldn't choose the custom view of the panorama anymore.
See video attached. Any ideas anyone?!

Great, im not alone!
I tried to download the old version 2.5.6 and instal it but when I open the panotour pro its still the latest version, how do I downgrade?

On go to a panorama or a group in target view, custom view.

Hi.. OK, seen the video.. It works in 2.3... Not sure why it fails to work in that window now.. It works OK in the Tour build...

Kolor has only just some on, so they might respond soon.. Annis should be around soon too...

Anything new?
Clients are waiting...how do I downgrade to to previous version?
I got the link and the file but when I run it, nothing is happening. Do I need to reinstall the software from the beginning?

Hi.. Sorry for your issues.. The end results will still work as per normal as I tested.. Its just the GUI that has issues..

Yesterday I sent an email to Gerald to check into this issue.. He might be very busy or not in his office.. He is the guy to ask about this. Kolor have changed so much since GoPro bought them, its hard to know what's happening anymore... Not sure where Annis is..

Thanks for this report,

It's only a GUI issue, the result is correct and custom view is saved into the kpt, on the preview renderer, probably due to our task to optimize the GL rendering into this view.
This issue has been added to our backlog with high priority.

We don't have an ETA for the next bug fix version, if this is a very blocking point for you, I'd recommend using the previous version until a new version is available.

No but it's likely that 2.5.7 will install separately instead of replacing, so it depends on whether you want both versions on your computer or not.

I´ve tried several times to install earlier versions of Panotour on my MacBook Pro but when I open the software its always 2.5.8. When I install a previous versions, where do I find it?

It'll be on your computer, but install separately. Check your apps.

The problem is that the installation works perfect but the program is missing!

If the installation was successful then it is somewhere on your computer, likely in your apps you should have several PTP icons.

Hi guys
Back to the same question:
Do you know when the new update will arrive because I cant still instal the 2.5.7 version. There is only one PT in my application folder after I tried 10 times...
What should I do in your opinion? I takes a lot longer to produce a walk around when you cant see the custom view!

Hi Johannes

I tried the same thing yesterday.
You can rename the PTP file in your application folder. For example panotour 2.5 -> rename in panotour 2.5.8.
Then when you will install the 2.5.7 version, a new icon will be create in your application folder.
