Try building in a new directory or otherwise you could create the PTV manually?

1) Create a simple text file called "infos.txt" that will be placed in the same folder as your tour's html file.
In it, you will need to add this information:
Code: Select all
   [ptv]
   version=1

   [tour]
   name=My tour name
   author=The author of the tour
   entryFile=tour.html
   thumbnailFile=tourdata/thumbnail.jpg

Remplace "tour" with your tour's name. So for example if the tour's html file is called index.html, replace tour.html with index.html and tourdata with indexdata.

2) Save the text file, then select it in the explorer and change it's extension to .pti. A warning will likely pop up warning you about changing extensions but that's fine, click on OK.

3) Now select the info.pti file, the html file, and your tour's data folder and compress them into a .zip file. It is important that you select these files and zip them instead of compressing the containing folder, the zipped files have to be at the root of the zip file, which won't be the case if you zip the containing folder.

4) Wait for the compression to finish then just change the .zip extension to .ptv and you're done.

There may be a size difference from the ptv you would have got from PTP and from the one you created manually because they'll have been compressed differently, but other than that your ptv should be fine.
