Hyperlink referal chain results in krpano displaying text

by mountainyahoos » Sun Mar 06, 2016 10:27 pm

This is a specific and weird bug. I have a Cesium globe on the following page:
1) Select URL: http://www.mountainyahoos.com/Globe/

2) Select the blue icon for Whistler, Taos, Jackson Hole or Mammoth Mountain (these resort guides are eventually linked to a tour while many of the others are not).
This selection will bring up a panel on the right side of the page.

3) Select the link to a "Resort Review".

4) Scroll down to a "Virtual Tour" thumbnail image on the left hand side.
This is linked to a Panotour generated krpano page but only text is displayed and not the images.
this occurs on all browsers and all platforms.
Example page display (no images):
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="100%" height="100%" id="Taos-NM_Lift4-Peakdata/Taos-NM_Lift4-Peak"><param name="movie" value="Taos-NM_Lift4-Peakdata/Taos-NM_Lift4-Peak.swf"/> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"/><!--[if !IE]>--> <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="Taos-NM_Lift4-Peakdata/Taos-NM_Lift4-Peak.swf" width="100%" height="100%"><param name="movie" value="Taos-NM_Lift4-Peakdata/Taos-NM_Lift4-Peak.swf"/><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"/> <!--<![endif]--><a href="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflash"> <img src="http://www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif" alt="Get Adobe Flash player to visualize the Virtual Tour : Taos-NM_Lift4-Peak (Virtual tour generated by Panotour)"/></a><!--[if !IE]>--></object><!--<![endif]--></object>

The Kolor virtual tour only breaks when using the following the above URL referral chain. I can open the URL of the krpano virtual tour in another browser tab and it works. It is something about the referral chain which breaks the tour.

Wireshark (network) traffic capture) shows headers and sequences for the working vs non-working pano.
It looks like the working page has the wget request followed by the SWF followed by images.
The broken request looks normal but doesn't get follow on requests past the initial page.

Something is broken, HELP!

Use an iframe rather than a SWF object to display the tour.
This is an old Panotour Pro 1.8 method which is not valid for Panotour Pro 2.5.

Not a solution. It still breaks with an iframed page. The resort reviews have an iframed tour as well as the hyperlink and the iframed display shows the same error. The only difference I see from a working direct URL verses the referral chain I mentioned is that in wireshark I see that one has a referral in the HTTP request and the other does not.
