See screenshot: Image
http://www.panoramictravels.com/Panotour2-2.png

Preview pane is not displayed in Panotour 2.2
I would like to set the default start position of the tour but can not without visual feedback.
Moving the image in the Hotspot editor seems to have no effect.

This is on Ubuntu 12.04

It's not only Ubuntu, also on Windows 7 64bit.
Workaround: deselect the pano-picture and select again - then it's working normal

Nope, selecting and deselecting does not bring anything to the preview pane.
It works on my Ubuntu laptop but not on my Ubuntu desktop.
Using just one panoramic image as you can see from the image I provided.
Very frustrating!

Graphics driver issue?

Not an issue with Panotour 1.8 nor with the other viewing panes in 2.2 thus I doubt it is a driver issue.
Looks like a bug to me.

The 3D preview is the only place where OpenGL is used so it's probably linked to Video driver card on Ubuntu.
Can you send us many information obout your config (PC+Ubuntu version+Video card+...) ?
