Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas why this is happening.

When loading panotourpro it takes upwards of 30 seconds with the message not responding in windows task manager.
when dragging panos into it also shows not responding for 20 - 40 seconds while it is doing something.

I am using win 8, 64GB ram and all SSD drives. 6 Core I7.

CPU Sits at 10%.

I just re-installed the program and no difference.

Now trying to load my project.. it hangs.. this software isn't cheap. now its holding up my project.

It seems to hang doing nothing, especially on opening a new pano project.. then after 3-5 minutes it simply begins opening the files and the progress indicator works normally.

** Tried deleting the temp files.. No Help. even between clicking the style/build tabs.. wait 1-2 minutes.. Please guys can you give me some ideas ?

I managed to get it to open the project file. However it will only open if you open the tour window then select the project open button. If you select it from the main screen.. it simply hangs.

Many thanks.

here is something perhaps worth noting.. I was using a network drive store my project. should have been ok with a transfer rate of over 100MB/Sec .. I put everything on a local drive and reopened the project. Other than the long start up time, it seems to be working reasonably well. most of the delays have at least dropped by 90%.
