Hi Guys,

I have a problem with a project I'm working on atm.
Every pano I add to the project gets 10x the size in memory usage.
My pano's are aprox 26mb a piece

Currently I'm working on a 104 pano job...
My complete memory was used (16 GB) and the program was swapping to the virtual disk.
PTP 2.0.1 was using aprox 30GB memory when the project was loaded.

This is way to much in my opinion.

Regards,

Xander

Yes at this time we are working on a way to avoid the load of full res panorama to gain memory.

In our tests, for example a whole project of 25 panos and 3 gigapixels is loaded in less than 10 seconds and use 500 Mo in memory.
This feature should be available into one of the first 2.X version.

Temporary solution : use the right click on panorama to load low res panomas and change into full res panorama only before the final build.

ah nice!

Hope you can push it for the next release..

At this phase the project is almost done... so creating small pano's would now be a waste of time.

I will keep it in mind for the next big customer.

thx!

I don´t think so. Having 104 panos in a tour 30GB of virt. memory seems to be rather low.

best, Klaus
