little planet effect appears with black corner

by viewmaster » Sun Jan 26, 2014 10:38 am

When I use the little planet effect in ptp 2.0 it appears with black corners and the movement is not as normal (jagged) as it was in ptp 1.8. The black corners appear in a 22in screen. In smaller screens there are no black corners but the problem with the movement is the same.
You can see an example in this link: http://thomas360.dotsyntax.gr/little_pl ... error.html

Ok reproduced on the flash player on your visit.
I'll add a report for this problem.
Is it possible to send me informations about your file : width and height in pixels ?
Or better, is it possible to send us your equirectangular, and your project file ?
Thanks

The width is: 8000px
The height is: 4000px

Yes, I can send you the file. Where should I send it to?

Thanks
Thomas

I have the same issue, I think since krpano 1.17

http://360virtualtour.ch/panos/museumku ... anbau.html 7902 x 3951

http://360virtualtour.ch/panos/panopratteln/pratt.html 7804 x 3902

at the begin of Little planet intro you see the black corners

Thanks Felix

I've tried a couple of things and I discovered that when I don't select the multiresolution option in output the problems with the black corners disappear.

Next release doesn't use same little planet parameters and it seems working. So problem is probably due to the limitview="lookat" value of the view during littleplanet effect into your RC1 build.

Hi Benjamin,

The little planet effect issues are solved with the new version V2.0.0

Thanks
Thomas
