Hi...

The brilliance of Klaus Reinfeld krpano really shines through here...

For anyone wanting to view their PTP V2 Tours Locally, or burn them to DVD or even copy to a USB Flash Drive to showcase to clients, this is now possible using the new krpano Testing Server....

This works for both Mac and Windows.. You can download the files from here: http://krpano.com/tools/ktestingserver/#top

I suggest you extract both the Mac and Windows Testing Servers from the krpano web site. Then you can burn to DVD or copy to USB Flash Drive; Both Testing Servers, together with your Tour/s...

Since the Testing Sever is in the same File structure as your Tour/s, there is no need for clients to struggle in finding files and folders.. They just open the Mac or Windows Testing Server, where the html files will be available to them..

Destiny...

I am guessing that some that need to use this feature have not read it.. I have very successfully used the krpano Testing Server on a USB Flash Drive and also burnt a Tour to DVD.. The Tour works ANYWHERE.. The only thing that needs to be considered are plugin features like Google and Bing Maps.. Its not possible to hose the entire server content of these features on a single USB or DVD or any large YouTube video or remote websites linked to a Tour.. Therefore, for those features that require an internet connection there is nothing that can be done about that.. However, if consideration is taken when designing a Tour, it would be necessary to omit any feature that requires web hosted media content, and then a Tour works quite well on a USB and very well on a DVD.. It is advised to load Tours on a good quality High Speed USB Flash Drive... The bigger the Tour the bigger the USB drive will have to be..

All the user/s have to do is click on the KRPANO icon for Window or Mac and then press the link to open the folder.. A green arrow button will be available.. In many cases the Tour works quicker since there is nothing to download... To be honest, I think it might even be possible to view a Tour on a TV.. Some TVs can accept keyboards and a mouse... That would be an interesting test... =D

Destiny..

No, no need to purchase anything else, just export your krpano license(s) from PTP 2; Help/Licenses:

Did you fill the "Restricted Domains" field ?
If yes, did you add "localhost" as a valid domain ?
