My clients are complaining about loading speed. How can we have it load fatser?

What kind of performance do you expect or hope for?
I get to see the Splash screen in 30 seconds.
Viewing the tour with Firefox on Windows XP/32 via a relatively low bandwidth (about 1.5-2Mbps at best) ADSL Net connection here in the UK.

For the loader, it's difficult, because the XML file of your tour is 2 Mo ... and it's the black screen.
I have work on an HTML5 slashscreen which can be displayed before the load of XML.
But many tests must be done before apply it on the product.

What sort of Net connection bandwidth does your client and typical/target audience have?
What sort of viewing performance do they experience and describe as 'too slow'?
