Re: Auto Rotate on start

I had noted this myself, PC, RC1. Tried tracking this down by doing the following...
-Apply auto-rotation on a pano in 'Tour'
-Used default parameters, also changed parameters to 3%
-Turned off Auto rotation (built tour)
-Turned it back on (built tour)
-Saved project, shut program, started up again
-Tried blank tour with only a single pano and only auto-rotate enabled (no styles)
-Viewed locally and uploaded to server
-Viewed with Chrome, Firefox & IE

No auto-rotation. Unless I'm missing something somewhere else?

Mac - RC1

Autorotation on start-up of tour not active. Each Pano is set to auto rotate with 2 second delay at 2 degrees per second rotation.

It appears to be a bug in RC1.

Mac - Mavericks OS X - Safari 7.0.1

We know that the set to Auto Rotate does not work, probably a bug, but with my new OS X and Safari, even after pressing Auto Rotate, it only does it for a part of a rotation and then it will stop.. If I wiggle my mouse, it starts off again.. It might all be part of the same bug.. Not sure, but with my older Safari 5+, it seemed to work ok after pressing the Auto Rotate..

Hi Benjiman.. It might not be a bug.. It might have just been a conflict of kinds, not sure.. I have just rebuit the Tour and the Auto Rotate works. I did not change any settings, I just opened the file and rebuilt it.. Now it works..

Yes thank you because it's the kind of bugs difficult to identify. It can appear only with conditions which are difficult to reproduce.

Hello,

I have created a tour just for this auto-rotation issue. It can be found here:
http://monsoon360.com/tours/pt2/test2/tour.html

1) I started by adding 2 panos with one of the default themes, set the starting point and uploaded.

2) I then came back and ticked the "Use specific rotation parameters" and uploaded. There was no rotation.

3) I came back to PT2 and changed the values to 2s and 2 degrees per second and uploaded again. There is still no rotation.

I checked the XML file and the "tour.xml" file reflects the values of 2 and 2 t hat I set. The tour_core.xml file shows "false" for auto rotation under Global variables and Autorotation. If I change both of these values via text editor to "true" the autorotation begins to work.

I wonder if I am missing an option? Is there an Auto rotation on and off checkbox somewhere as there was in PT1.8? Or is the ticking and unticking of "Use Specific rotation parameters" under Auto Rotation supposed to equal on/off?

Thanks

Many Thanks! I was indeed missing something Project Properties

My Two Cents for Kolor:
Before this was pointed out for me I did not even know to look for the Project Properties (I thought that 'Style' replaced 'Project Properties'). Since I almost always was adding or editing images I naturally never saw Project Properties as this requires for no images to be clicked on. Perhaps there is a way to do this already, but my suggestion is to simply tab Project Properties and the image Properties (like 1.8).

Thanks,

Patrick
