Thumbnails crop when iPhone rotated portrait to landscape

by bob1010 » Fri Dec 20, 2013 10:01 am

I'm sure this wasn't an issue in beta 5 version, but if you load a tour in portrait mode on the iPhone 4 then rotate to landscape the simple thumbnails are cropped top and bottom again, happens in safari and Mercury. Only an issue when to tour is loaded in portrait mode, not an issue if the tour is loaded in landscape then rotated to portrait.

Seems the orientation of the thumbnail plugin isn't being picked up when you rotate the phone. Also still crops the bottom thumbnail on the iPad 2 in safari.

Regards,

Rob

Ok it seems that the % value used is bigger in portrait than in landscape (it's logic) and it the same after a rotation so too big for the landscape mode.
I register the problem.

Thanks Ben, be good to have that one sorted, it will make the thumbnail functionality better.

Have a good New Year.

This problem seems linked to the orientation change which is never applied in your case. I've added a report to change this.

For thumbs sort it's into the feature requests for a 2.X version.

Benjamin, might need the same process adding to combo box and control strip for orientation as they move up on the iPad as well as the thumbnails cropping.
