ptp 2.0/5
win 7 home 64bit

my tour with 3 panos suddenly crashes all the time when I click the "build tour" button.

It doesn't crash when I save it or when I click the green button for "view last tour"

Sounds like my problem.

By any chance does it only happen when you change point colors from their default in the style menu?

If so you might find help in this discussion - viewtopic.php?f=92&t=20479

Should not happen in beta 5 and doesn't for me with beta 5 for Windows 64-bit on Windows 8.1 Pro.

What version are you running and on which OS?

Is the offending tour one you created with a version earlier than beta 5?

I re opened a tour that was being developed using an earlier version -- now in Beta 5.

Every time build is selected the tour crashes.

This is a ten pano tour with a dead line.

It is an insufferable problem now -- completely blocking me from proceeding.

I look to the developers and to fellow users -- you're my only hope...

@ mfoleary:

I decided to put this version of ptp besides till it is repaired. It has much too many problems in it. I still work with 1.8.

Best Luck!

I empathize with your decision to stay with 1.8; however, 2.0 is in my experience much more powerful and the bug fixes are taking shape.

Mediavets, you asked the write question !

And I sense the problem with the crash might have had to do with the presets directory or processing. Just a hunch developed by looking at the list of "troubles." I stumbled on a work around by loading presets developed while I was till using an earlier version.

Either way -- I recommend you keep working with 2.0 as things go -- it will put you in good stead as it becomes more stable.

Good luck !
