Menu Cut off in IE 8 and 9

by Wayne Spence » Wed Nov 20, 2013 11:04 am

Good Day,

It is me rattling on about Iframes again.

One of my clients have reported that the Menu wording cuts off on IE 8 within an Iframe size of 706w x 600h

I totally understand that your main concerns are with the more up to date browsers as there is more people using up to date browsers. What should my answer be? You will look into it or we dont support browsers older then IE9.

Unfortunately due to confidentiality contracts signed i cannot post the link yet.

What type of menu are you talking about?

There are some features of PTP 2.0 especially in fullscreeen mode that will only work with IE 11 or later.

Firefox seems to b the most versatile browser for viewing tours created with PTP 2.0.

You could perhaps post a screenshot?

Hi Mediavets,

Sorry I was not more specific when i typed it i was on my way out. Here is a screen shot of what it looks like.

Menu cut off.png

After a meeting with the clients now I showed them that it works perfectly within an iframe on my portfolio website but it cut off on the iframe within their site.

Could this be a css conflict? I am a bit lost on this one and need a solution.

After a test on IE8 I can't reproduce the problem. Menus are not cutted into <iframe> or with the tour accessed directly.
