Crash after build again pano

by herflik89 » Sat Nov 16, 2013 11:04 am

Hi, I'm new here, I have a problem with Panotour.
I've created tour with 28 panos, after first build everything seems to be ok. But when I edited some spots, and build it again the program crashed.
I'm using OS X Mavericks (same problem appears on OS X Lion) and Panotour v2.0 beta 4.

Welcome to the forum...

Did you create the tour originally with beta 4 or with an earlier beta version?

OK - try removing and then replacing all plugins in your Workspace in the Style section.

I don't have any plugins on workspace. I've tried to add one but it still doesn't work.

So you have no Control bar, no menu of any sort?

How do you allow the user to control the tour? Just via hotspots?

First I've created it in Beta 2 but it was the same problem, and I decide to update.

Do you have any unusual, special or accented characters in the folder/directory an file names anywhere in the tour?

No, that should not cause a problem.

Did you look at this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=20521&p=131143#p131130

.........

Perhaps at this point it would be best to start again and create the tour afresh in Beta 4?

Thanks for your help. I've solved the problem. It was really simple, previously I've created my different hotspot style and I've changed color of them. This was the problem - changed color of hotspot :)
Once again, thanks for help:)

So changing the colour of a hotspot style causes a crash on Build?

Simple...

Start a new topic about the problem.

Describe the setup you are using - versions of software and OS.

Describe how to reproduce the fault.

What sort of hotspot wrer you changing the colour of?

It doesn't cause a crash - on Build - for me when changing the icon and/or colour in a Point hotspot style.

PTP beta 3 on Windows 7.1 64-bit.

It's probably due to TEMP directory of OSX Maverick. TEMP directory in Mavericks change.
So try to define it again with Edit > Preferences > Performances => Temporary folders.
This folder is used by icon colorization algorithm.

Thanks for your return.
