Nice how my panoramas are displayed in Panotour Pro 2 :/ these are regular psb files !

I'm also unable to import cubefaces in TIFF format :( it states it's unable to load the files unless I can open them without problems with Preview on Mac adn have used them successfully with KRPano tools !!

Oh wow.. Thats a new one... In all the thousands of post I have seen since Alpha 1...

What image format are they.....

Destiny...

PS... Try exporting as a Panorama.. Then check to see what the image looks like... Try bringing it back in and see if that changes it...

as indicated in my post, just regular PSB files :)

Export Panorama ?

In all matters, tour generated suffers same issue of solarisation so there is definitively an issue in Import filter of PSB files on Mac :(

Opps, sorrry... Well.... I was half a sleep.. @2.55am.. Sooo hot.. The weather has gone crazy... Its currently 7:15am and already 28c...

Anyway.. Just for info.. A brand new feature, one that I asked for sooo many times is now in PPT V2.. AlexJ promised, and its a reality now. Its under Export Cube Faces..

Now, I just ran a test... I stitched my TIF images in APG, saved as TIF and PSD.. Booth look fine and I too am using a Mac.. So.. it might be the way the images are processed.. This is why I suggested exporting as a Pano.. BTW, do your cube faces look ok in Photoshop or another image viewer.

I am almost fully awake.. I need a nice strong black coffee ;)

yep all panos whatever they are in PSB or cube faces in tiff are solarised once imported in PTP, and are still perfect in Photoshop, Preview or when I use them in KRPano Tools to publish them directly on my blog, so it's definitively something when PTP imports pictures.
if I convert PSB pictures in 8 bits before resaving the file it's ok, but I don't want to downconvert to 8 bits !!

oky so the two bugs are identified !
-> PSB files have to contain an 8 bits picture and not 16 bits
-> TIFF files have to be saved without compression, unable to decode LZW compression =(

There you go.. I never tried 16 bit..

Also, I never use any compression with any images going into PTP.. I would guess it would have issues with that..

There you go.. At least you know know.. and good for anyone else who ever gets this issues...

So.. why do you want 16 bit.. There is no advantage at all with web media.. Thats used for print, as far as I know.. web cannot support it in RGB.. Its more for CMYK.., print media.. but I am not entirely certain..

Added in the bugs list for verification (#2648). Thanks for these tests.
