360 Panotour Pro only build for web 4 photos

by Drew » Tue Jan 16, 2018 3:11 am

Can only build and upload to web small panotours, 4 or less 360 photos, using panotour Pro. Can view entire build on panotour viewer. When click on HTML here is the error message
FATAL ERROR
8CASCADE2018DATA/8CASCADE2018.XML - LOADING FAILED! (0)

I have MacBook pro--180Gb on my SSD available, 16GB ram, OS high Sierra V(10.13.2)
2.2 Ghz Intel Core i7, Graphics is Iris Pro 1536 MB

Problem, I suspect the Graphics card may be to weak???

Suggestions, thank you

Hi.. There is nothing wrong with your MacBook.. PTP is designed to work on PCs or Mac's with far less specs..

Does it work Locally using the Preview Last Build or using the KRPANO Testing Server...??

Destiny,

Yes-- on preview last build it runs fine, and runs fine on Panotour Viewer 1.1, have not used KRPANO testing Server

Then I am sure the only things it could be is all you files have not been uploaded, or there are permissions you need to set on the server where you have uploaded the pano to.. Are you able to share the link.. Annis can check what the issue is..

You can see some uploads that went through, some work some do not work. iq6000.com/panotour

But even if I do not upload any when building, when I click on the HTML file, opening my browser I get the FATIL FAILURE notice I posted. So it may be more in the build than upload.

This link works, for example.

You can't open a tour locally directly from the HTML file, you need a local webserver to view it correctly. Like when you use PTV, the KrPano Testing Server or the "View last built tour button" in PTP.

Thank you, the html appeared to open my browser, however it does work on "view last build just" finer me. The links just show I have the proper permissions.

Back to my first Question, if I have more than 3 they do not upload, they don't even try, when the build is done there is just a blank white bar, no progress, it it remains until I cancel.

Hi Drew
I have found it to be more reliable to upload the tour files using a dedicated FTP program like Filezilla or WinSCP. I use S3 Browser to upload to Amazon S3 servers. Never had much success with inbuilt uploaders.
