Add an image to the pano description - disable HTML escape  [SOLVED]

by Enderr » Sun Aug 19, 2018 4:17 pm

Hi,

I have attempted to add an image in HTML to the pano description and display it when the pano is opened with the description plugin. My problem is that the HTML is being escaped, so that it outputs in the tour as text instead of being interpreted by the browser.

I have tried to retrieve the description through javascript by getting the inner HTML of the div that holds the description so that I can unescape it to allow the browser to parse it as HTML, but it returns a whole lot of javascript instead of the contents of the description.

I've also tried to find where the HTML escape is happening on the PTP side, by searching through the description plugin files, but no luck.

Is there a way I can disable HTML escape in the pano description?

I would greatly appreciate any help you could give.

Jesse

My apologies, I saw a similar thread that solves this problem.
