Resume a video scene when closing a hotspot content

by Infra-Blue » Fri May 18, 2018 5:56 pm

Hi there !

In my tour, I have only videoscenes and some hotspot. I found a way to stop the video scene when I click on a hotspot by adding a "stop videoscene" action. Perfect.

The thing is, I need to resume the videoscene when I close the hotspot (a photo or a flat video). There is a "Resume video scene" action, but the fact is that the user will not click again on the button hotspot to close the video or photo... The user is most likely going to click on the overlay to close the content.
Is there a solution to solve this easily ? Even if that imply coding ?

Thank you ;)

I do offer a plugin to execute arbitrary PTP actions either on image or video close, feel free to contact me for details if interested.

Hello 360-compunics-com-ni !

Thank you for your suggestion, I made a quick visit on your website to see the plug-ins you have.
I see that there is a problem using the overlay with your plug in and unfortunately I can't remove my overlay, this feature is required by the client.
Plus, this is really cool to propose a lot of actions to one hotspot but I only need to assign the action "resume the videoscene" when I "close" the hotspot.

Thank you anyway and good job for your plug-ins.

Hi Infra-Blue,

this is a misunderstanding, sorry for not being clear on that.
The hotspotactionlist plugin that you mentioned is not capable to achieve what you are looking for, as it lets you assign certain actions to hostpots, but no action to be executed when an image or a video gets closed.
I have an "OnImageClose" plugin (which works for flat videos as well) to achieve exactly that, as i did not have the time i haven't done any documentation/demotour and thus have not yet added it to the shop.

Best wishes,
Michael Brüning
