Panotour Pro Crash on build

by Thomocheerio » Tue Feb 20, 2018 9:39 pm

Hi there -

Panotour pro keeps crashing when I build my tour.

Any ideas? I have uploaded the crash report to the Kolo server.

Cheers

Thom

Thom,

Sadly the crash reports you sent gives only one information. It crashes while doing an infinite loop "somewhere".

1/ How many scenes do you have in this project ?

2/ How many spots do you have in this project ?

3/ How many plugins do you have in this project ?

Hi Gerald,

Thanks for the reply,

I don't have the figures for the tour when it crashes. When I select the build tab, the program crashes.

I suspected the program was crashing because of the large number of scenes, so I started deleting to see if the program would stabilize. This has worked and the figures are as follows

1/ 1315 Scenes

2/ 4566 Spots

3/ 5 Plugins

My understanding was the program could handle any number of panoramas. What was impressive, when I did delete about 50 -70 panoramas and re-built the project from scratch. The program did manage the build without any issues. It did take a long time, but it didn't crash. I suspect the maximum panoramas the software can handle is 1400 images. On my computer.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

All the best

Thom

Hi Thom,

If the crash occurs when you hit the Build tab and not when you hit the Build button, then it means that the issue comes from the "Summary" display in the tab .

Can you send us your project file ? the kpt file only.

If it is the summary that causes the crash, to have your project will help us to find which part of the summary has this issue.

You can send it to contact@kolor.com and tell in the mail that it is for me.

Hi Gerald,

I just sent you the file. To confirm the program crashes in both instances. Shortly after I click the build icon and shortly after I go to the build tab.

Cheers
