merging virtual tours

by menards » Mon Jan 08, 2018 6:31 pm

Hello,
A customer asks me to merge individuals virtual tours in only one.
ex :
/Virtualtour1/Virtualtour1data/Virtualtour1.xml
/Virtualtour2/Virtualtour2data/Virtualtour2.xml
in
/Project/Projectdata/Project.xml

Is it possible to do it easily, as there are lot of vitual tours (6) with scenes (32 total), i don't want to rebuilt a new project but just to merge them.
Thank you for your help.
It's important and urgent.
Best regards.
Stéphane

You can't merge projects together.

The only way would be through the xml and editing the kpt but that is very complicated.

Hello .. this is a big one. I have a PTP tour of 300+ panoramas, and another one of over 100 panoramas. I need to merge them. Need to - or I have to build both with each other's data and that is absolutely not an option. I need a regular work around as this is something I will need to do often. It it's all about editing XML and KPT then can you please advise how. Not only important ... critical. Thanks. J

Hi.. You could try to create a Parent Tour and use Deep Linking to link the Tours. You will need to hand code a button to take you back to the Parent Tour. You should investigate using the Thumb Nail images from each Tour for navigation.. No easy way to do this. It could take time..
