Virtual tour not showing on webpage

by SmileyJo5 » Thu Nov 30, 2017 4:27 pm

Hi

I have been publishing virtual tours on my website as demos for a client for some time now. This time I went through the same process but it doesn't appear to be showing now. I can see it on my Mac but the client (and a couple of other people I've sent it to) can't see it.
On a page on its own: https://strikingplaces.com/demo-page-2-crest-interiors/
On a page with the rest of the demo tours: https://strikingplaces.com/demo-tour-pa ... interiors/
My specs:
MacBook Pro 2.4GHz intell Core i7, 12GB 1333 MHz DDR3, AMD Radeon HD, macOS High Sierra
5 panoramas
just hotspots to maneuver around the tour and some jpg and url hotspots.

I guess you'll get the same error message as the client but I can see the tours perfectly well.

Any help gratefully received.

Jo

Neither links work for me unfortunately, could you check them?

What is the error message your client is seeing? Do you have a screenshot?

Does it have an impact on the iframe if we have just changed to https rather than http ?

Also this page which has the same iframe structure etc seems to be working: https://strikingplaces.com/tours/crest- ... ual-tours/

The two links from your original post work for me now.

If the website is in http and the tour iframe link in https or vice versa, neither will work because it counts as a potential security risk.
So if your website is https, your tours also have to be in https and make sure it's the right url in your iFrame.

In your latest link, I see that in your iframes the links have spaces in the file names. Avoid special characters and spaces in file names at all cost. So try rebuilding the tour with a new name, replacing the spaces with _ or - .
