License Question

by rschlierbeck » Thu Nov 03, 2016 9:55 pm

I'm sorry but I could not find a good answer to this question by searching.

I'm trying to understand what is needed by a client to put virtual tours on their server (from a licensing perspective.) When I purchase Panotour I get a license to use the software and that license gets embedded into every tour I create. If I then deliver a tour to a client and they host it on their own server do they need to purchase a separate license? Does my license allow me to provide the tours to a client without any additional expense on their part?

Thank you.

Jones

Hi...

You can create as many Virtual Tours as you like and distribute them to anyone anywhere in the world at no cost to others.. Your Licence is for the actual software and not the media it produces. That will alway belong to you and who you sell it to..

From our General FAQ: Do I need an extra license to use my projects commercially?

So no, you don't need an additional licence.

Thank you both for the clarification and pointing me in the right direction. I thought I searched the FAQs but somehow I missed the answer.
