Understanding floorplans

by jschrader » Wed Feb 10, 2016 3:31 pm

I'm building a tour for some kind of campus with different buildings.
The customer demands a floorplan for the campus and one for each building.
When the our opens the general floorplan should appear.

I've built groups of panos for each building and created the general floorplan which is assigned to the tour.

Problem 1:
As soon as I add a floorplan to the group the tour should start with, the group floorplan will appear on sartup, which misses the entire concept of a tour floorplan.
What can I do to make the tour floorplan appear on startup?

Problem 2:
The tour floorplan should be directly accessible from all groups. Currently this is only possible through the drop down menu of the multiple floorplans. Is there a way I can create a single button to directly access the tour plan?

Problem 3:
Tour floorplan and group florplans in my case are styled completely different and preferably also act differently (radar on group fp but not on tour fp, tour fp move up, group fp move sideways). As I understand there can only be used only one instance of the foorplan plugin, so most likely and unfortunately no solution for that. What do I tell the client?

Nobody?
Is my description of the problems not clear enough?
Can at least someone confirm that their is no solution for any of the problems?
Is there an example where someone made good use of multiple floorplans including a tourplan?
Thanks a lot.

Does that mean neither the users nor anyone at Kolor has a clue about multiple floorplans?
Am I the only one struggling with this feature?

I haven't yet given up.
What about a workaround if I create my own floorplans and add these manually.
What would be the correct location to place the code for the plans and the buttons to call these?

I received an example from a user that put me one step ahead but still is far from what is needed.
Upon further reading there might be a solution using "external" plugins and actions like "Call actions on tour events", "include an xml", "Panorama specific - Toggle button", "call Krpano code".

Any thoughts on this?
