Uploading a tour to a Wordpress site.

by 360degrees » Wed Dec 02, 2015 9:17 pm

Can anybody tell me how to upload a site created in ptp 2.3, FROM ptp TO a Wordpress site? We know it can be done but it seems it doesn't use the ftp exporting process that ptp offers.

If you can direct me to a wiki page or something with a step-by-step process, that would be great.

Thank You!

I have a Wordpress site running on a web hosting site and use Filezilla to transfer Panotour outputs to the site and have never had any problems with it

Filezilla is a free ftp client from Mozilla (of Firefox fame)

Thanks, Martin!

Which file are you uploading -- Just the html? .js? xml?
And…. we are using FileZilla, and PanoPress plugin on the wp site.

Hope this helps. If you can help out with a step-by-step process I can find somewhere or if it's super simple, perhaps you'd be kind enough to tell us how to...

Thanks so much!

I use wordpress plus the panopress plugin with a little customization using html/css to tune up the display and description info.

for a panotour called "tour" I just upload the file "tour.html" and entire contents of the folder "tourdata" (containing all the filetypes you mentioned) using Filezilla. It is just necessary to idntify the source locations of the above and login to the remote server and identify the exact receiving destination at folder level then drag the html and data folder across on the GUI screen in Filezilla. I have never had any problems with this

Also the files (HTML + data folder) are required for the tour to work and must be uploaded: http://www.kolor.com/wiki-en/action/vie ... rtual_Tour
