PTP 2.2 Output Filename Truncated

by FlatBallFlyer » Sat Oct 11, 2014 7:49 pm

The output file name appears to have some rather puzzling and undocumented limitations. I typically name my pano files as YYYY.MM.DD.NN which has not given me any problems in APG or Photoshop. However when I provide the output name of 2014.10.09.04 to PTP it generates 2014.10.09.html and 2014.10.09data, which is problematic. I tried 2014.10.09-04 but that was even worse, causing the pano name to be 2014.10.html. I've abandoned the delimiter I use and now have 2014100904 - but it's not as easy to read as my traditional naming standard. Is this a feature, or a defect?

This bug is fixed in the 2.3Beta1 released last week.
