Virtual tours in Flash project

by mjaszo » Sat Aug 30, 2014 9:00 pm

Hi u all. I have a client doing Flash presentations and would like to use vts as well. They ask me for fla files of vt to check if it could be added to their projects I'm using Kolor/krpano software, no fla formats used, obviously.
My question is: how should I approach the issue and what solutions should I suggest to the client? Is there a way to add vts to opened fla Flash projects? The most obvious solution is to have vt opened in separate window/browser etc but what if they want to have it all in one presentation?

Panotour exports swf file for player but also many JS files. If you're doing tours without needs of JS plugins or HTML5 player it can be possible to open the tour with this kind of URL :

Code: Select all
http://URL/PATH/VIRTUAL_TOUR_DATA_DIRECTORY/VIRTUAL_TOUR_NAME.swf?xml=http://URL/PATH/VIRTUAL_TOUR_DATA_DIRECTORY/VIRTUAL_TOUR_NAME.xml

So probably the same thing into your Flash application ?

Will see. The thing is that I have no idea what exactly they are doing and the tours I send them doesn't seem to work as they want. I've sent the answer to them.
