is it possible to ad more text (maybe 150 char.) to a tooltip? How can i set up line breaks in such big tooltips?

Thanks for your help!

Strangely enough I was trying to figure out how to do this today, sadly with no success. I hope someone has figured this out for us. :)

Thank you, so easy when you know how. Is there documentation for this somewhere that I've missed? Are there any other formatting options like align etc which can be used as well?

:)

Be careful with this because it's not really HTML5 compliant ! but ...

<b>bold</b> : Bold tag
<i>italic</i> : Italic tag
<u>underline</u> : Underline tag

<li>List item tag 1</li>
<li> List item tag 2</li>

<br> : Break tag / Line break

<font color='#ff0000' face='Arial' size='20'>Text</font> : Font tag (version 1)
<font color='#0000ff' face='Helvetica' size='+2'>Text</font> : Font tag (version 2)

<img src='VIRTUALTOURdata/thumbnail.jpg' width='80' height='40' align='left' hspace='8' vspace='8'> : Image tag (not fully compatible)

<p>Paragraph</p> : Paragraph tag

Thank you, Reading your reply I relaised that I should have thought of using HTML codes and testing them. Thanks for taking the time to reply and kick start my brain again.

Benjamin..

I have tried many times since PTP v2+ to get an image to work with a tool tip but it never seems to work.. I am sure its not Safari.. since I can get an image to appear with a Description..

I have even provided the full url to the graphic... Can you please provide a working option of this..

Destiny...

Yes destiny it's difficult because tooltip is resized for text content in our code and is not made to display picture.

Code sample :
Code:
<font color='#1b1b1b' size='+1'>My custom tooltip header</font><br><img src='testtooltips4data/thumbnail.jpg' width='180' height='90' hspace='0' vspace='0'><br><br><br><br>

Displayed sample :

Note : image without text can't be displayed due to the fact that tooltip size is linked to text size.

After receiving these messages I tried this too but strangely got the Tool Tip to work but not the Description one. A little frustrating.

Description plugin is different. Code must be added manually into the YOURTOURdata/YOURTOUR_messages_en.xml file into the right description part. Description accept in this case a true HTML5 coding with style attributes if needed.

Yes, as Benjamin say.. adding the url into the Message xml is easy to achieve the result.. I added the Descriptions to a Button top right here.. Works well.. Just click the Next Pano on the Tool menu after opening the Description using the Button to see the different images added...

I have tried so many options to get an image to appear with a Hotspot, including JS and jQuery but... the Kolor code is a challenge..

Thanks, that was going to be my next test. Thanks for confirming that it's the right way to go :)

Hi, is there a possibility to center the text within the tooltip (I have 3 lines of text)? Basic hatml tag doesn't work. Thanks!

I've used:
<p align="center">Bryan Peterson<br>Support Engineer

Works for me so hopefully should also work for you :)
