Create clickable submenus

by AH360 » Wed Aug 06, 2014 2:21 pm

I wonder if there is a way to create submenus, to better organize my Tours.

For example, this Tour (it was not create by me, but I greatly admire their work)

http://www.sferica.com.br/cases/jardim_botanico/index.html

If you click the first button, "MAIS FOTOS", a submenu will appear with linked buttons.

The only way to do it would be through the XML code? If yes, where and how could I modify the code to have something similar?

Also, how to do this slide effect, left to right?

I hope anyone can give me a help on this.

Regards,

Akio

Take a look at the Panorama menu plugin; you cannot reproduce those effect exactly but you should be able to do something somewhat similar.

And check out the Notifications plugin - which enables the creation of pano-specific buttons via the GUI (amongst other things):

If you want to reproduce the example exactly you are into hand coding. I 'lazy' and prefer to work within the capabilities (and limitations) of what can be achieved via the PTP GUI.

Thanks for your tips, but still looking for something more similar the example I sent.

I really think it will have to be hand coding, but as I'm not an expert XML programmer, I don't know where to start.

http://krpano.com/docu/actions/#tween for animation.

All the rest is full hand-coding.

We have on our TODO list an HTML5 plugin which have List items + ComboBox abilities with a possible display on the fly of the panorama thumbnail. But it will be available much later.
