I have a new large job, 26 panos. On initially trying to build the panos and upload them, I repeatedly am getting this error:

"An error occurs: Creating directory failed: Prohibited directory name"

But it doesn't tell me what directory it is refusing to create, so I have no idea how to proceed. My folder name is "unity" and I named the starting file "tour.html".

Can someone help?

And what happens if you turn off the |FTP upload option in the Build section?

Last night I changed the name of tour.html to build.html, and it SEEMED to resolve the problem. However, this morning, I am unable to complete the build. PTP2.1.3 has crashed 7-8 times on me in 10 minutes in the process of building my job. I have now turned off the FTP, as suggested and will report the result. See ktp file attached.

Turning off FTP made no difference. PTP is consistently crashing every time I try to build my job. Help please!

I Just looked at your crash reports (thanks a lot for uploading them)

The crash occurs while checking for disk space availability.
We may not manage correctly disk with no more empty space.

Can you check that :
- the disk on which you generate the tour is free
- the disk on which you set the temporary directory of panotour is free too

If the "temporary disk" is full, change it to a free disk.

Sorry forget my previous post,

the crash happens after trying to create or write into a file, when trying to display the error message saying that we did not succeed to write into this file.

So, in the build directory, check all your filesaccess rights, and verify that they are all writable

I am the only user on the computer and have administrator privileges. It is Windows 8.1. Specifically, I have full permissions on the build folder.

I have deleted the previous tour and recreated the tour from scratch. I am building it currently. So far, it is working.
