Video is too small on iPad

by toto-foto » Fri Apr 18, 2014 7:46 pm

Video opens in very small frame on iPad.
video.jpg

And it does not depend on the initial size of video mp4 file. There is a black .jpeg file in spots folder, which should define the size of video-frame, but if to resize it up to 960x540 px, it doesn't couse any changes...
How can I increase video size on iPad or to force it to start in full screen mode?

You can edit the tem19_skin.xml file.

At line 1177, you'll see the following :
Code: Select all
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].align   , %2);
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].x       , %3);
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].y       , %4);
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].width   , %5);
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].height  , %6);

Change it by the following :
Code: Select all
    if (device.desktop,
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].align   , %2);
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].x       , %3);
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].y       , %4);
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].width   , %5);
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].height  , %6);
    ,
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].align   , center);
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].x       , 0);
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].y       , 0);
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].width   , 100%);
      set(layer[displayedStandardVideo].height  , 100%);
    );

Thank you very much, bdd!
Now it opens in full frame on iPad :)
But there is another problem bothering me: additional pressing PLAY button is needed now to start video... Can I get rid of Play button on iPad/iPhone? And video does not close automatically on iPhone after tapping on it :( I've to wait while it's playing to the end. In old versions i could press "rewind" and then "Done" to close the video, now nothing helps to close it prematurely on iPhone...

The attachment video.jpg is no longer available
