LIVEPANO HELP!! KOLOR, SOME RESPONSE WOULD BE GREAT!

by farkinoff » Fri Apr 04, 2014 1:17 pm

Having video edge masking issues. I have tried a few different masking soften levels with no luck, all levels still leaving a harsh line where the anchor box edge is. I have included the pano and screen shots, hope I made my problem clear. Am I missing something or do we have a bug??

Screen shots:

If anybody is wondering what the heck this is, it's a tiny-TINY cave in the waiting room of a children's dentist office where kids can sit and watch TV while they wait.

Re: LIVEPANO HELP WITH SAMPLES

i've been having the same problem with borders not being applied correctly (masking zone) haven't been able to make it fit properly..
i think it has something to do with the fact that even if you use the same lens, the video you shoot is slightly cropped compared to the still pictures so when overlaying and stitching it, it's not a perfect fit

I have had the same issue on a couple other tests. This one is pretty close though, it would be fine if it applied the mask edge softening. I just want that hard edge from the anchor window softened. I just thought of something I am going to try, going to try and put the polygon just inside of where the anchor box ends and see if the softening will apply. Yes, Kolor hello! :/

Nope, that didn't work but what it did tell me is the the mask is definitely not being applied properly. Wish they were able to make the selection in step 3 the polygon - would solve my issue with this one.

When using blur gradient on mask, you must assure your mask is inside the image enough to prevent the gradient from being cut by image boundaries, else such a straight line would appear.

This is where I drew the polygon before applying the softening, is this not for enough inside the image??
