Hello Freinds,

PTP crashes every time when I try to build the Tour. I have no Idea why. Please help! I need the solution very urgent!

I built a completely new tour, without presets or plugins. Just panoramas with links between them and the PTP crashes every time when I try to build the tour.

Please Help!

Thanks!

Emiliyan

Hi.. I need some background on your process..

What version of PTP V2 are you using...

Did you create your Tour at anytime using V1.8..

What plugins have you added...

Have you removed a plugin at any time..

Are you using the latest rea;lse of PTP?

Which OS are you using?

Was this tour originally created with the current latest release of PTP or an earlier release?

Have you ever managed to complete Build of this tour?

What are your Build settings - can we see a screenshot?

Are you using a custom HTML template?

This is completely new tour with no presets or plugins. Just panoramas with links between them. It is the latest PTP - 2.0.1. The computer is PC with win7pro x64.

Not even a Control bar plugin?

How many panoramas?

Are they all 360x180?

Are they linked just with hotspots?

Did you have a previous version of PTP 2.x installed before installing 2.0.1?

if so did you uninstall the previous version before installing 2.0.1?

Do you see the Crash reporter dialogue when PTP crashes?

OK I found something.

At first I built a normal tour with plugins. After several crashes i decided to build the tour again but without any plugins or panoramas. The result was the same - crash!

Then I wanted to zip the tour and post it here. I made the panoramas just 1200px so the .zip is not too big. Then I tried to build the tour with the small panoramas and it worked! The I replaced the small panoramas with the original panoramas and CRASH again.

Yes I see the crash dialog box!

The only thing I can think of here; Did you move your pano files to a different folder after you added them into PTP or change the name of the location folder....

NO, it works with small panoramas, but when I replace them with the originals (same name, same folder) it crashes!

Same names might be confusing PTP.. Try renaming the lager panos and add them into PTP again, then build..

That should not be a problem.

What sort of hotpots are you using to link the panoramas?

I found something - I have the problem only with this panorama:

http://www.frenchev.com/clients/Bad.jpg

I tried to build tour only with this panorama and the PTP crashes every time. When this panorama is not in the Tour everything is fine.
Can somebody tell me why is this happening?

Thanks!

Emiliyan

Yes it is. I have already sent it to two other computers with the same result - CRASH.

It works only by you.

Can anybody else try it please. Thanks!

PTP 2.0.1 64-bit on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.

Created two additional copies of your JPG fil.

Loaded all three in a tour - PTP crashed on Build.

Created three version of your file in PNG format.

Loaded all three in a tour - PTP crashed on Build.

Both crashes reported using the Crash reporter.
