Hello,

I know this has been asked before, but I can't find the post with the information on.

I would like to have the full screen button back in HTML5 as I have a couple clients enquiring with me to why it is not there. Also I've noticed that the help screen button is missing now too, sure that was working before. Someone mentioned a way to get the buttons back by editing the code before, could someone point me in the direction of this please?

It would also be nice to have the option to use the navigation buttons in HTML5, why on some of the control bar's are these removed too?

Any idea when these buttons might return to HTML5 images via Panotour Pro ??

Many Thanks,

Peter

Buttons that are unnecessary on multitouch UI devices are omitted from control bars by design when tours are viewed using these devices, likewise fullscreen doesn't work reliably on some devices and hence the button is removed.

Yes but why be restricted by what Kolor believes is good design or not ? Perhaps it would be nice to give us the option.

Any idea when we will be able to use the full screen button in HTML5 again ? It's a necessity when embedding the tours within a webpage. Is this a KRPano issue? I've never come across this problem when building tours in Pano2VR.

Then I suggest you make a feature request.

Which browser are you using?

How are you embedding tours on web pages? The best way appears to be to use iframes.

Ok.... daft question, but how do I make a request ?

This is typical of how I'm embedding 360vr on my website

Panotour Pro: http://www.peterstephens.co.uk/interact ... ksmith.php

Pano2VR: http://www.peterstephens.co.uk/virtual_ ... eption.php

Hey Peter...

You are not really asking the right question.. All those features ARE already available using html5, its just a matter that Devices use HTML5 and do not display all features, since most of the time they are not needed.. So your feature request should be to have the option to add ANY controls you want no matter which platform the Tour is being viewed in... I think this request is doable quickly.. ;)

Ok Peter.. I think I have found a fix, but Benjiman can confirm..

If you go to the skin.xml you will see code like this.... This is for the down button....
Where it has desktop next to 'devices' if you add |tablet|mobile to those menu buttons you want to show on a tablet this might work for you...
The thing is.. Some of these features might never work on a Device.. Its just a matter of trying and testing it out..... I will upload a test and view it on my Samsung Note later...

Destiny..

layer name="theme2btn_down"
url="%FIRSTXML%/graphics/classiccontrolbar/btn_move_down.png"
ondown="set(vlookat_moveforce, +1);"
onup="set(vlookat_moveforce, 0);"
style="theme2_btn_style"
tooltip="controlBar_classicmoveDownTip"
devices="desktop|tablet|mobile"
visible="false"
/>

Can't get this to work, thinking there might be some other code that needs changing too ?

emm.. I will give it a test today Pete.. You are probably right.. The PTP V2 xml code often has a hierarchy kind of setup where their might be a parent or child controlling features too.. I do not know what the term is in xml, thats a 3D Term. I am only now beginning to get my head round the new code structure. I have asked for more information written into the code to assist those that have a need to edit it.. Benjamin was probably busy so I will give it a go..

Hi Pete.. You must be doing something wrong or its the device you are using which might not support the menu, not sure......

I just tested my option provided and it works, so this is a really easy fix..

http://www.destinyvirtualtours.com/PTPV ... /menu.html

You just need to edit the code as I shown above and its done.. They seem to work on my Samsung Note fine...

Destiny..

For fullscreen look after the : fullscreensupport keyword into xml files
For others buttons, look after devices="desktop" string into the control bar code of the yourtour_skin.xml file and remove them.

Looking at this again this morning, I'm only interested in the full screen button at the moment. It's really frustrating that it is missing on iOS - appears to be ok on android.

I have limited knowledge of coding..... do I need to delete everything with the tag 'fullscreensupport' ?

Cheers,

Peter
