Hello Friends,

All my Tours are very shaky on my HTC One SV Android Smartphone when I turn on the Gyroscope. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

Probably nothing - AFAIK that's just the way it is on some Android platforms.

It's better on iDevices I believe.

I found the same issue, so start with gyro turned off and allow users to turn it on via the menu if they want.

I did it, but my client love this feature and want, that it is "on" when the tour starts. Is it possible, to start the tour with Gyro "on" for iOS and "off" for Android.

Thanks!

I don't think so, though I might be wrong. I had the same response from a client too.

I'm experiencing the same issues. Krpano has documentation using xml variables to determine the use of the plugin for a number of devices and browsers.

http://krpano.com/docu/xml/#devices-notes

However, I've tried setting to iOS only and have had not change in results. When set as the following, I'm still seeing the gyro enabled.

Code:
<krpano tour_gyroscopedevices="true" devices="ios" />

Anyone else try these out with positive results?

Update: Only experiencing issue with Chrome on Android 4.3.

Ran a test using Firefox on Android and viewing is stable. Gyro is very sensitive, but does not jitter as it does in Chrome for Android.

Google updated Chrome Browser for Android yesterday (February 26th). We’ve updated it on our Nexus 7 and tested on one of our own tours. It appears to have cleared up the gyroscope issues.

Chrome 33.0.1750.132
