iBooks integration?

by AndrewRomer » Sun Nov 03, 2013 5:09 pm

Will there be an iBooks export like in 1.8, or some other clever way to embed tours into interactive ebooks?

Probably not into the 2.0 release but into a 2.X release.

Thaigo, 2.0 is a total redesign of the panotour product. I don't find it that strange they left out ibooks compatibility for the moment. They have enough to concentrate on for the moment.

But Thiago you are true it was into the 1.8 and not into the 2.0. it's a regression. A 2.X version will add it normaly.

i'm pretty sad about this.. any idea how long we will have to wait? 2 months?
seems like if something was already there and was VERY useful, you shouldn't take it away.. even if it is temporary.. now ill have to make tours in 2.0 but export an uglier version in 1.8 just for the widget so i can have it offline for ipad..
not very practical.
please let me know when this feature will be coming out as I was ready to buy the upgrade but might wait instead.

I don't know yet for a fixed date. So for the moment you can wait if this feature is needed.

Is the no alternative way to run offline tours on the iPad?

Place a zipfile of the whole tour on a website, download it onto you iPad using goodreader and unzip it inside goodreader. Then you can run the tour without have an internetconnection

Return to Using Panotour / Panotour Pro
