Separate galleries for each group?

by Dennis O'Hara » Wed Oct 16, 2013 11:55 am

I am building a tour with multiple groups and would like a separate gallery for each group.

When I create the gallery and invoke it with a simple button, it works fine, however it is tour wide. I would like to create multiple galleries were each is invoked depending on what group is being viewed.

I see how a particular gallery can be invoked from a hotspot on a scene, is it possible to have a simple button or hotspot invoke a different gallery depending on the group you are viewing?

Thanks,
Dennis

Gallery is multiple instance so you can add as many gallery plugin you want and each one has a call action to display it.

Not at the moment - it's a button which is tour-wide or a hotspot which is pano/scene-spcific; no other options at the moment.

Many have requested that buttons could be made pano/scene specific. But I don't recall a previous requests to make buttons and galleries to be Group-specific.

Yes, but if you use a button to invoke a gallery it is tour-wide.

If you use a hotspot it is pano/scene-specific.

He wants something that is Group-specific.

Many others have requested that buttons be made (optionally) scene-specific. Perhaps they could/should also offer a Group-specific option?

Sorry a too quick read of the topic, thanks for your answer mediavets.

Only hotspots are panorama specific.

OK, Group specific would be nice but, I'll work around it for now.

Thanks,
Dennis

Group specific will be applied into a 2.X version.
