Using new picture hotspot

by pu2wxp » Tue Oct 15, 2013 2:38 pm

Hi all!

I tried to use the new hotspot for a picture in tour. I need to put a hotspot in a suiteroom to show (when they click), to open a small picture over the tour showing the bathroom.

I can't do it.

I am sure it is easy, but I can't do it.

Maybe I'be muisunderstoof what you wnat to do bnut..

Here's how to do what I think you want to achieve:

1. Create and instance of a Point hotspot style in the Style section. You can enter the image filename here or later, If you leave the dimensions as zero it should default to the image size.

2. In the Tour section place a hotspot in the Hotspot Editor then associate that hotspot with your Hotspot style (top right) and then parameterise as desired.

That's it.

..............

You could also do it with a Gallery plugin instance, linked from a hotspot.

Your English is fine.

Mastering Hotspot styles and Plugins is the key to creating tours with PTP 2.x

For those familiar with PTP 1.8, at first it can seem quite counter-intuitive and unnecessarily complicated (and maybe it is in places) but it is fundamentally very logical and a powerful system.
