Start with rotation

by tisseyre » Wed Oct 09, 2013 9:35 am

Hi,
I can't find those 2 actions on Panotour 2.0 :
- starting with the auto rotation
- adding an hotspot which allows to zoom in the panorama: I have the possibility to make a crop but I 'd like to access to this crop by cliking on a hotspot, is it posible ?
Thanks

Check out Project properties/Start parameters in the Tour section.

Do you mean zoom in on same panorama as the hotspot?

Thanks Mediavets: I managed to start the tour with auto rotation with the start parameters...
and, yes I want to zoom in the same panorama: it's a gigapixel image and I want to add an hotspot and zoom in the image (crop previously defined) by clicking on the hotspot.

I ticked autorotation in the project properties of tour page
Where is the start properties exactly located ?
Also viewing file stored on computer is it affected by not being embedded on a website
Thanks

Start parameters are in Project properties - see screenshot.

Yes, in the case of Flash versions of tours. Many more features in PTP 2.x are implemented in javascript which must be delivered from a web server to work correctly. Use the View last built tour.. button in PTP 2.x to view a tour locally and it will use small web server built into PTP 2.x to deliver the content.

Alternatively if your computer setup supports HTML5 and you have created both Flash and HTMML5 versions of a tour you can add ?html5=always to your filepath/name to view a local tour.

Hi mediavets

Thanks for the quick reply

I just noticed something else I was doing. When I went into the tour page double clicked on the image which made it come up in bottom pane
Then the start option is not there. However if you just go to tour page it is. I must have been in a secondary edit stage where it was not shown

Thanks and kind regards

If you click on the background of the upper left panel (in default layout) of the Tour page then Project properties are displayed on the right side.

If you click on a panorama thumbnail the Panorama properties are displayed on the right side.

If you add or edit a hotspot in the bottom left panel (Hotspot Editor) then the Hotspot properties are displayed on the right side.
