Hi... Have you tried.. ?

I have actually requested this feature in the Effects.. Its handy.. Perhaps the reason why it had not been added, is due to the xml.. I will give it a test..

I am curious to see if the software can achieve leash-locking two panos together for day/night or before/after as well!!

Crossing my fingers that Kolor included this feature

Day / Night effect is not implemented in the 2.0 version .
It is planned for a future version, and it will not be done thru "effects" but thru a "kind of panorama" : Panorama stack.

Day/Night is just a panorama stack of two images
A four season panorama is a panorama stack of four images
The progress of a construction site is also a panorama stack but with much more images

So the "Panorama stack" will allow you much more transitions than a simple On/Off (Day/Night) feature

In the current version of Panotour Pro, you can modify the XML code, to either modify the mainloadscene action (in the xxx_core.xml) file, either add a new loadscenebutkeepview action.
Just find the "loadscene" call in the current mainloadscene action, and replace the MERGE parameter by KEEPVIEW.

Here is the tour that I want to do it with. I want to take out the thumbnails from the navigation, and just have a two state hotspot ("After" "Before") that will leash lock the transition so it transitions in the same direction for the new view.

Thanks for helping! I will try your suggestion over the weekend.

I recently did something similar with krpano.
This helped me to get there:

Thank you, in PTP generated a 1.8. Xml file for each image, PTP version 2.0 generates a single file. Xml and I find it hard to understand, especially when you have multiple images and the button you should see only the images supplied the double version day / night...

Hello! Any new solution for this type of transition? Before / After, Day / Night, etc! The example shows jschrader, is based on codes? Any suggestions will be appreciated!

Thank you!

Yes you need to hand-code it. http://360impressions.de/LTKuppelBlend/krpano.swf
But there are examples on the KRPano site.

If scene is the same (same position) on day and night simply use the KEEPVIEW transition during the loadscene to keep the user view.
See :
