pictures showing at tour load, how hide them?

by Christian Stüben » Wed Jan 11, 2017 5:01 pm

Hi all,
i a working on a new tour, which has many pictures in it.

When starting / loading the tour, all the pictures show up. But they should display only, when i click on a poly inside the pano.

Modifing the XXX_skin.xml i can change the behavior of the pictures so that they will be hidden at loading the tour. Better solution (because the number of pictures will ge near hundred) would be to click them in the gui to "hide when loading the tour". Otherwise while edition the tour, i must do the changes to ski.xml with every revision again.

The only settings i can make for a pic are name, position, filename, size, react to show/hide, close on click. But no show/hide on tour load.

Any suggestions?

greetings from germany
Chris

If I understand correctly you want your picture hotspots to be hidden on tour start (since you only mention pictures)?

i have pictures in the tour, i have poly hotspots that shall display the pictures when clicked to the poly.

The poly hotspots must be active just from the beginning.

But unfortunately all the pictures show immediately after loading the tour.

So while editing (this will take some more revisions) i must change the skin xml every revision so that the pictures are hidden at tour load.

I don't understand.

You have poly spots that have the action "display an image"?
How are the images shown on start? They shouldn't appear until you click on one of the spots.

What's the modification you're doing?
Can you share a link?

The action of the poly is "(picture name) > toggle show and hide the picture".

Without editing the skin xml, each picture will show at tour load.

original:
<events name="picture1events"
onTourStart="showpicture1(false);"
keep="true" />

i change to:
<events name="picture1events"
onTourStart="faulenzen;"
keep="true" />

<action name="faulenzen"></action>

here the url of the tour with original, unedited skin:
http://360.haifischbar.de/panoramen/bei ... beler.html
It still isn´t public, so please dont hand over.
You see, the pictures pop up at tour start.

You must select the fifth pano in the pano preview at the top, there you find a oil painted picture with a big nose man on the wall.
or you must select the seventh pano from the pano preview, turn 180 degree, and then the clock top left in the showcase.
There are the polys which must display a detail picture and they do it perfectly.

Until now, i only have three pictures in it. But number will increase up to 60, 70 pictures. Which must be edited after each rebuild.

The foto album you can see by the camera symbol is working perfectly.

Chris
