Objet 3D manipulable et publiable sur le web

by Ivan38 » Fri Apr 11, 2014 10:57 am

Bonjour,

Hi...

Kolor already offers the option to showcase a 3D scanned object using its website box, however, the interactive features are not, that would be a third party option.. Things to consider with scanned 3D objects are the polygon count can make viewing very slow. This test here showcases a scanned 3D object, the render will load after the model does.. The only solution I have found would be JS, WebGL is terrible...

Other ways to view objects would be 360 photos giving the illusion of 3D.. but time consuming and again, Kolor have provided the option to views this using their Website Box..

.. and more object uses are here.. http://www.destinyvirtualtours.com/Face ... entre.html

There are many options its just a matter of finding the one that works for you...

Hello,

Thank you for your reply and for examples made by you.

The solution to be turned on only 1 axis is interresting but I find it less powerful in terms of seduction.

Then the 3D object shown in your virtual tour http://www.destinyvirtualtours.com/3D-J ... oject.html is a small technical feat, congratulations to you. But I think without texture réèl sake of presenting a 3D object loses power.

I love the quality of the 3D object https://skfb.ly/zDCz. Still, it is hosted on a shared platform. this is the type of quality I will wish to achieve except that the hardware tools for design are very expensive for the moment.

Hi.. That test 3D object is a scanned object with millions of polygons so as a consequence the file size is a bit big.. There is a render map but it takes few seconds to load... This is the same process but I used a CAD model and since its Vector, the file size is small..

My advice is be very careful with this 3D Viewers since like this one you showcased, its actually webGL which has many limitation and webGL is still very much under development without true standards.. If I turn off webGL, I just get a low rez 360 object, not very impressive. If I try to view it on my Samsung Note, It won't show..

Many of these 3D Viewers claim great things but they don't work when you buy them and they can be expensive especially if they host the model. If its your model you might have then lost ownership of it in many ways..

Some 3D Viewers require players to be downloaded to view the object but I found people do not like doing that.... They just want to open it and view it..

Pity Flash is not an option with the newer Androids since Flash has many more options which I guess in time will be lost.. =(
