Something interesting about early aerial photography

by spherorama » Thu Nov 12, 2009 2:48 pm

Hi folks,

I found this interesting link http://www.cameramuseum.ch/upload/press/pigeons%20catalogue.pdf about pigeon carried cameras. An interesting fact however is that some of the cameras they used look actually like small panoramic cameras with moving lenses. The photographs in the catalogue seem to point in this direction, too

Nowadays you can use electric pigeons that cost you almost 15.000 $ without camera http://www.draganfly.com/ .

All the best

Andy
