Alternative Versions for 360 Video No Longer Supported?

Hi all,

I noticed that I can no longer add multiple resolutions of 360 video to my project in Panotour Pro. Is this something that is no longer supported? If this is true, should I simply use Main File: High Resolution .mp4, High Resolution File: High Resolution .ogv Low Resolution File: Low Resolution .mp4? I would love to hear your thoughts and/or if you are have the same problem?

I have read through the panotour alternative versions section on the forum and followed the instructions carefully, but each time I try to add more than one file under high resolution files or low resolution files it just replaces the one that was there before.

I just updated to panotour pro version 2.5.10 64bits. Perhaps the new version doesn't support as many multiple resolution 360 videos?

Thank you in advance,
-Corey

Hi,

We did some checks, and we did not reproduce this issue.

1/ Can you describe exactly step by step what you do ? And how you do it.

2/ On which platform are you using Panotour Pro ? Windows or MacOS ?
And what is its version ?

regards,
Gérald

Here is a screenshot of my OS (Windows 10) and a screencast of what happens when I try to add a new file.

Any thoughts?

The way to select alternative files may be not intuitive.
When you click on the "..." buttons, you have to select ALL the alternative files.
It's not an "add" button, it's a "select" button .

If you already selected a file, and want to keep it, then you have to select it in the opening dialog box. This select window allows multiple selection, so you can select more than one video files in it.

If you want to reset alternative files, then you have to select the main video file of your scene.

I agree, it is not intuitive.
